Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Austin, TX, seeks a Solutions Architect to help East Coast ecommerce customers migrate and modernize workloads on AWS. You will translate business goals into cloud architecture, guide migration, and drive adoption of scalable, resilient commerce platforms.

In this role you will collaborate with account teams, share best practices, and lead enablement sessions on GenAI personalization, real-time analytics, and cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 2+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Ensure success in building and migrating ecommerce applications, platforms, and services onto AWS — including commerce engines, digital experience layers, fulfillment systems, and data pipelines.
• Formulate and execute a technical strategy aligned to the growth and transformation goals of East Coast ecommerce customers.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS for retail and ecommerce workloads, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for peak-traffic resilience, cost efficiency, and rapid innovation.
• Conduct enablement sessions to transfer knowledge to ecommerce customers considering or already using AWS — covering GenAI-powered personalization, real-time analytics, and cloud-native commerce architectures.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge across the AWS Solutions Architect community, focusing on ecommerce and retail patterns.
• Publish customer-facing content such as whitepapers, blogs, workshops, and reference architectures for the RRCG vertical.
