Job description

This position is critical to the ministry of Sky Ranch and contributes directly to our mission of leading youth and families to know and follow Christ. The Retail Clerk I serves guests in the retail store, supporting Sky Ranch at Cave Springs by providing an excellent experience for guests purchasing items. This role aims to exceed guest expectations through outstanding customer service and a welcoming environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Serve guests in the retail store, including fulfilling orders, handling payments, and managing inventory (stocking shelves, pricing items).
2. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
3. Handle opening and closing duties as assigned.
4. Assist in inventory maintenance.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain compliance with Sky Ranch’s policies and procedures.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE

None required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Food handler’s license if working in a food outlet.

KNOWLEDGE

• Effective customer service skills and ability to handle service recovery.
• Basic math skills for calculating percentages, addition, and subtraction.
