Job summary

Whole Foods Market, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to keep floors, seating areas, restrooms, and back offices clean and safe. You will follow SOPs and support store initiatives while delivering courteous, efficient service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include performing daily/weekly maintenance tasks, assisting with repairs, and ensuring safe, well-kept store environments. No prior retail experience is required; training provided.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
• Stand 6-8 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent maintenance service.
• Performs all duties on the daily and weekly maintenance lists.
• Supports all teams with cleaning projects.
• Performs minor repairs and improvements.
• Participates in ordering supplies for store maintenance.
• Helps with cleaning emergencies.
• Maintains store landscaping and parking lot.
• Performs continual cleaning of all store departments.
• Arrives on time, well-groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
