Michaels Stores in Plainview, NY is seeking a store cleaning associate responsible for maintaining store cleanliness, assisting customers, and ensuring safety. You will perform sanitation tasks and support daily store operations.

You will handle trash disposal, floor care, stock movement for cleaning, participate in checkout and rewards enrollment, and cooperate with store team to meet brand standards.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness to high standards and recover to meet brand promises.
• Dust and mop floors and clean bathrooms and high-traffic areas.
• Assist customers, provide friendly service, and support checkout as needed.
• Handle trash disposal and stock replenishment following SOPs.
• Support Omnichannel processes including BOPIS and Ship from Store.
