Position Purpose:

Responsible for providing consultative sales and service to customers seeking health and ancillary insurance products and information. Assists with wellness education and conducts on-site Personal Health Assessments (PHAs).

Logistics:

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, working on-site at 1795 N. Highway 17, Suite 7, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464, in an office environment.

What You Will Do:

• Provide sales and service to customers for health and ancillary insurance products through face-to-face, telephone, and web inquiries. Analyze customer needs and match them with appropriate products and services.
• Present and explain products, benefits, features, and alternatives. Clarify sales, underwriting, and enrollment processes to set realistic expectations.
• Generate leads for new sales and replacements, follow up via phone or outreach.
• Schedule appointments, conduct group and individual information sessions, and assist with wellness education and PHAs.
• Handle payments from customers.
• Support sales and service for special events and public projects.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of retail, sales, or marketing experience
• Effective relationship-building, presentation, and customer service skills
• Analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to persuade and negotiate
• Discretion in handling sensitive information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Department of Insurance Licensure within 60 days of hire, maintained throughout employment
