Job Overview

The Retail & Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the assigned retail location. The role involves ensuring efficient store operations aligned with Aramark's policies, procedures, and client contracts. The manager will coordinate guest services to create a positive experience for staff and guests, and oversee store merchandising, inventory, purchasing, and other operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage non-sales aspects of retail and catering, including inventory, warehouse, receiving, ticketing, and distribution.
• Develop and implement catering solutions to meet customer needs.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and customers.
• Plan and execute events with consistent quality.
• Coordinate food delivery and event setup based on banquet orders.
• Assist clients in planning and providing creative solutions for special events.
• Train and lead catering staff to meet quality standards.
• Ensure all banquet event orders are completed with quality assurance.
• Collaborate with HR to hire staff, ensure proper staffing, and manage payroll within budget.
• Develop and train customer service and product knowledge programs.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash, credit, and security.
• Resolve customer issues promptly.
• Verify financial transactions and merchandise transfers.
• Conduct periodic inventory checks and address discrepancies.
• Maintain strong client and customer relationships for mutual benefit.
• Adapt to changing job duties to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree or related field experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with P&L accountability or contract-managed services preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills following Aramark standards.
