Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC in Wethersfield, CT is seeking Sales Associates who greet customers, operate the register, and help keep our stores clean, safe, and welcoming.

You’ll stock shelves, assist in deli when needed, and learn through cross training while following safety procedures and company policies. Weekend and holiday availability is required; we offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement.

Prior retail experience is a plus, but on‑the‑job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and be on your feet most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while ensuring age verification and legal compliance.
• Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the store clean and safe including bathrooms, lot, and pumps.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to look fresh and full.
• Maintain a clean and organized store and assist in deli when needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
