Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking entry-level cashiers to provide fast, friendly service in a busy retail environment. You will help customers locate items, answer questions, and process transactions with accuracy.

Training is provided, and you will learn multiple responsibilities across departments as needed. This role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability to changing schedules, and maintaining clean, safe facilities.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills are important.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by helping them find items and answering questions.
• Balance cash register and process transactions following state/local laws.
• Ensure proper food safety for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean and maintain the working area, sales floor, restrooms, and pumps.
• Cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Maintenance, or leadership roles.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
