Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a friendly cashier to join a fast-paced store environment. You’ll provide fast, accurate service, help customers locate items, and support daily operations with a positive attitude.

No experience is required—training is provided to get you up to speed. Flexible scheduling, career development, and competitive pay are offered as part of a growing team in a supportive culture.

• General customer service duties and willingness to help customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding items and answer product/service questions.
• Balance a cash register and complete transactions, with upsell opportunities when possible.
• Maintain proper food safety for fresh food and deli items.
• Clean and organize the workspace, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and perform trash runs.
• Cross-train in other departments and support leadership tasks as needed.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds; work in various temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
