Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring friendly cashiers in Minnesota to deliver fast, accurate service and maintain a clean store environment. No prior experience is required as we provide training and ongoing support in a fast-paced setting.

You will handle customer transactions, assist shoppers, and help keep the store and fueling areas safe and well-organized. Flexible scheduling, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash registers is not required; training provided.
• Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with products and services and answer questions.
• Balance cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness across the workspace and sales area.
• Clean the work area, bathroom, pumps, and perform trash runs.
• Potential cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, or Maintenance.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
