Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking friendly cashiers to join our team at our Maryland location. In a fast-paced environment, you’ll provide quick, accurate service while keeping our store clean and welcoming for customers. No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training.

You’ll assist customers, handle transactions, and may cross-train in other departments. We offer tuition assistance, PTO, flexible scheduling, a 401(k) with company match, and health benefits after 30 days,

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items and answer questions.
• Balance a cash register and handle transactions; upsell opportunities following laws.
• Ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean your working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and take out trash.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
