Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a cashier in Ohio to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service in a busy environment. No experience is required as training is provided, and a strong emphasis is placed on teamwork and flexibility to meet daily tasks.

In this role you will help customers, ring up purchases, and potentially learn across departments such as Restaurant Services and Maintenance. The position offers scheduling flexibility, full benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for growth

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing transactions and promoting additional sales while following state and local laws.
• Using various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety of fresh food and deli products.
• Cleaning your direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and handling trash.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and potential leadership roles.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
