Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a friendly cashier to join a fast-paced team. You will provide fast, friendly, accurate service, help customers find items, and handle transactions with care.

No experience? No problem. We will train you. The role offers flexible scheduling, PTO, health insurance after 30 days, and a 401(k) match with strong company growth opportunities, plus tuition assistance for career development.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Flexibility and teamwork are important in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions.
• Balance cash register and process transactions, with upsell opportunities.
• Use systems to ensure food safety for fresh and deli products.
• Clean and maintain the working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and perform trash runs.
• Cross-train in departments such as Restaurant Services and Facility Maintenance.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.


• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.


• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.


• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.


• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
