Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring for a cashier role in a fast-paced environment. You’ll provide fast, friendly service, assist customers, and perform cash register duties while maintaining clean facilities.

No experience is required as training is provided; flexibility and teamwork are essential to meet business needs across shifts. Benefits include time off, tuition assistance, and insurance options after 30 days.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities.
• Use a variety of methods to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh food and deli products.
• Clean and maintain your direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.


• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.


• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.


• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.


• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
