Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Tennessee is seeking a cashier to work in a fast-paced environment, keeping areas clean while offering friendly, accurate service to customers.

No experience? No problem— we will teach you. The role emphasizes flexibility and teamwork, with opportunities to learn across departments and to handle cash transactions.

You may help with deli and fresh food safety tasks and lift up to 25 pounds, supporting a growing family-owned company with opportunities for career development.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions.
• Balancing a cash register by completing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of fresh deli products.
• Clean direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps and perform trash runs.
• Cross training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.


• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.


• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.


• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.


• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
