Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking friendly, customer-focused cashiers to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain clean, safe premises across our store and fueling area.

No experience is required—we provide training and opportunities for growth, including flexible scheduling and a path to broader roles within the company.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to balance a cash register and assist customers efficiently.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service, help customers find items, and answer questions.
• Balance a cash register and process transactions with accuracy.
• Follow food safety procedures for fresh food and deli items.
• Clean and maintain the sales floor, restrooms, and pumps; assist with trash duties.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services or Maintenance as needed.
• Move and lift up to 25 pounds and work in varying temperatures.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
