Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring cashiers to deliver fast, friendly and accurate service in a busy store environment. Training is provided, no experience is required. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and contribute to a clean, safe, and well-organized store.

• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions.
• Balance a cash register and process transactions, while following laws.
• Ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the work area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and perform trash runs.
• Cross training in other departments and leadership roles may occur.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
