Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking cashiers to provide fast, friendly, and accurate service in a busy environment. You will help customers locate items, answer questions, and process transactions with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

No experience? No problem; training is provided. The role requires the ability to move 25+ pounds, work in various temperatures, and participate in a team-driven culture that values growth and multiple department cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred but not required; will teach you.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with friendly, accurate service.
• Willingness to learn and perform varied duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with finding items and answering questions.
• Balance a cash register and process transactions in compliance with laws.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, sales floor, and restrooms.
• Support cross-training in other departments as needed.
• Move and lift up to 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
