Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring cashiers to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service in a busy environment. No experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.

You will assist customers, manage transactions, ensure food safety, and keep work areas clean while supporting various departments as needed. We offer a supportive culture, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide network.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing cash register and processing transactions while identifying upsell opportunities, following all local laws.
• Maintaining proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products using various methods and tech.
• Cleaning own area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and pumps; performing trash runs.
• Cross training in departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and possible leadership roles.
• Ability to move/lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
