Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cashier for multiple locations in California. The role focuses on handling cash and credit transactions, operating the POS, and supporting the retail operation. Availability for varying shifts is preferred.

Responsibilities include cash handling, customer service excellence, and maintaining cash security. The position may require standing long hours and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Training and benefits are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year related experience.
• If alcohol is served at the location, must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol, per local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operates a cash register (or equivalent), processes payments and issues receipts.
• Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
• Maintains proper security of cash at all times.
• Significant walking or other mobility required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, potentially >8 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attends work and arrives on time for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ by account.
