Job summary

Rebel Convenience Stores is hiring a Customer Service Associate in California. You will greet customers, ring up sales on a POS, and assist with fuel, lottery, and prepaid cards. You will keep the store clean, restock merchandise, and help customers with pumps and car wash.

The role emphasizes upselling promotions, following safety procedures, and accurate cash handling. Weekend/holiday/overnight shifts may be required, with on-going on-the-job training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School diploma or GED (preferred)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work alone or with minimal supervision
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable standing for up to 8 hours
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and climb ladders
• Willing to work weekends, holidays and overnight shifts
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional service
• Ring up sales using a modern POS system including lottery, fuel, and prepaid cards
• Upsell promotions and help customers find what they need
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Operate and maintain food & beverage machines
• Restock and rotate merchandise using FIFO
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures
• Assist customers with pump, car wash or air hose
• Handle cash, credit cards and safe deposits
• Follow age-restricted sale laws (alcohol, tobacco, lottery)
• Complete required training and shift duties
