Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring at its Marshalls location in Pleasant Hill for a store associate role. You will engage customers to deliver a superior shopping experience, ring sales and returns, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

You should be capable of multi-tasking, adapting to changes, and lifting items as needed, with a strong focus on teamwork and compliance with store policies. Retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delivered highly satisfied customer experience through engagement with customers.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back per procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs and maintains store merchandising standards.
• Processes merchandise for sales floor and participates in store recovery.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety across the store and supports loss prevention goals.
• Cross-trains to work in multiple store areas as needed.
