Big 5 Sporting Goods is seeking an energetic, sports-minded individual to join our customer service team. The position typically attracts enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals with solid customer service backgrounds or relevant educational paths. Cashiers oversee the front counter POS (register) terminal. Other responsibilities include cash handling, bagging merchandise, greeting customers, answering phones, directing sales associates via PA system, stocking shelves, and maintaining the sales floor.
