Big 5 Sporting Goods is seeking an energetic, sports-minded individual to join our customer service team. The position involves overseeing the front counter POS (register) terminal, handling cash, bagging merchandise, greeting customers, answering phones, directing sales associates via PA system, stocking shelves, and maintaining the sales floor. The goal is to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• Basic organizational and math skills
• Acceptance of E-Verify process upon hiring
• Ability to lift light to moderate loads, with or without accommodation
• Effective communication skills
