Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking outgoing, friendly team members to welcome and assist customers in a busy hardware store. Prior hardware experience is a plus but not required, as we provide extensive training to help you succeed.

We offer paid training, flexible scheduling, and a community-focused team environment. You will work on the sales floor, assist customers, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for all neighbors.

Qualifications

• No prior hardware experience required; training provided.
• Customer-focused attitude and friendly demeanor preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find items to complete their projects in a single visit.
• Maintain a fast-paced, high-energy sales floor and assist with product placement.
• Assist with stocking, pricing, and checkout as needed.

What to expect:

• You’ll work directly with customers welcoming them and helping them find everything necessary to complete their project in one trip.
• Like working in a fast-paced and fun environment? We are high energy so time will fly.
• You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
• You must lift 25 to 30 lbs.
