ExtraMile in Vancouver, WA is hiring a part-time Retail Cashier / Customer Service Associate. You will handle fast-paced checkout and support store operations including stocking and cleaning, delivering friendly service and promoting current sales.

The role offers 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. shifts, with benefits for full-time later opportunities. Applicants must be 21+ and ready for a 24/7 operation.

• Process transactions accurately, including alcohol and tobacco sales (must meet legal age).
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including fuel islands.
• Stock shelves, coolers and displays with fresh products.
• Assist in foodservice and coffee areas, including cleaning and restocking.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.
• Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 an hour.

Shift: part-time 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Must be 21 years old to work in this role.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must be 21+ to meet legal age requirements for regulated product sales.

• Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for an extended period.
• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
