Jacksons is hiring a Retail Cashier / Customer Service Associate in Puyallup, WA. The role involves friendly checkout service, stocking, cleaning, and assisting with store operations. This part-time position offers growth, weekend shifts, and a pay range of $17.50–$18.50 per hour.

Greet customers, handle transactions (including age-restricted items), promote deals, and maintain a welcoming store environment. 21+ required; 2:00 pm–10:00 pm shifts; benefits available for full-time caregivers.

Qualificações

Shift: part-time 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. including weekends.

Must be 21 years old to work in this role.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Process transactions accurately and responsibly, including alcohol and tobacco sales (must meet legal age requirements).

• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh and organized products.
• Assist in maintaining foodservice and coffee areas, including cleaning and restocking.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.
• Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must be 21+ to meet legal age requirements for regulated product sales.
• Our stores require flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independently.
• Quick thinking, adaptable, and dependable.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for an extended period.
• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
