Job summary

Jacksons in Eagle, ID is hiring a Retail Cashier for Store 162. The position is part-time, 2:00pm–midnight, with a pay of $15.50 per hour and full-time benefits available.

You’ll greet customers, handle checkout, stock shelves, and support overall store operations in a fast-paced environment. We value a friendly, reliable team player who can adapt to a 24/7 operation, comply with store policies on restricted goods, and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly smile and thank them for their visit.
• Provide fast, accurate, and friendly checkout experiences.
• Promote store specials and suggest additional purchases.
• Ring up sales accurately and follow all policies, including restricted products.
• Maintain store cleanliness inside and out and restock shelves.
• Assist in cleaning and stocking the food service area as needed.
• Follow food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Rotate and label inventory and perform other duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and thank them for their business
• Provide fast, friendly, and professional checkout experiences
• Promote store specials and suggest additional purchases
• Ring up sales accurately and follow all company policies, including those related to restricted product sales (alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain store cleanliness, inside and out
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed
• Assist in cleaning and stocking the food service area
• Follow all food handling, preparation, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Rotate and properly label inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
