Job summary

Jacksons Food Stores in Riggins, ID is seeking a friendly Retail Cashier to greet customers, provide fast checkout experiences, and help with stocking and cleaning to support the overall store experience. Part-time shifts may vary.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and thank them for their business.
• Provide fast, friendly, and professional checkout experiences.
• Promote store specials and suggest additional purchases.
• Ring up sales accurately and follow company policies (alcohol, tobacco).
• Maintain store cleanliness, inside and out.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed.
• Assist in cleaning and stocking the food service area.
• Follow food handling, preparation, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Rotate and label inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Greet every customer with a smile and thank them for their business

• Ring up sales accurately and follow all company policies, including those related to restricted product sales (alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain store cleanliness, inside and out
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed
• Assist in cleaning and stocking the food service area
• Follow all food handling, preparation, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Rotate and properly label inventory
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
