Overview

The retail full-time Brand Advocate will effectively and efficiently merchandise products at the store level while building relationships with key store personnel. This associate communicates key initiatives and information to store employees and managers regarding new product launches and existing product lines. The primary responsibility is to drive sales for our client. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, a tenacious troubleshooter and adaptable.

Responsibilities

  1. Support a well-known technology brand in retail locations to achieve the goals of our client – working closely with store employees to build partnerships, educating and inspiring them about the brand.
  2. Maintain working knowledge of all client products in order to be a subject matter expert.
  3. Merchandising and stocking gift cards and products on specified fixtures and planograms.
  4. Correct in-store merchandising issues as needed (display, fixture, product placement, pricing).
  5. Replacing graphic signage on fixtures.
  6. Cleaning dedicated fixtures and displays.
  7. Accurately completing store visit reports, paperwork and on-going personal training in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines.
  8. Route and manage schedule independently, ensuring territory (~50 - 70 locations) visits are covered efficiently and per expectations.
  9. Develop, implement and maintain a business plan for your designated territory, driving measurable results for stores.
  10. Quickly adapt to existing processes and learn new technological advances.

Qualifications

  1. 1-year retail merchandising experience.
  2. Advanced understanding of technology preferred.
  3. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  4. Own vehicle with insurance (paid travel time and mileage reimbursement for personal car use).
  5. Ability to store and transport supplies and point of purchase materials needed to complete job responsibilities.
  6. Available to complete on-line and in-person training as needed.
  7. Monday - Friday work schedule, 8 am to 5 pm (evenings are required periodically; weekends and holidays may be needed but are rare).
  8. Overnight travel is required in some territories (travel expenses reimbursed) and may include air travel.
  9. Must have access to a computer and printer with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; working knowledge with CRM’s is a plus.
  10. Personal credit card for travel reimbursement.
  11. Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, stand, stoop, bend, kneel for the duration of shifts.
  12. Ability to pass background and drug screen.
  13. High School Diploma or equivalent.
