Job summary

D.L. Evans Bank is seeking a Retail Branch Manager in Utah to lead branch operations, drive business development, and deliver excellent service to customers.

The role involves coaching staff, executing marketing plans, and partnering with product teams to expand customer relationships. The ideal candidate has a strong banking background, licensed or eligible for NMLS, and proven abilities in staff leadership, sales, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• At least six years of banking experience in retail operations supervision or management required.
• Understanding of bank policies, procedures, regulations, and consumer lending documents required.
• Active license number with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry or ability to obtain such.
• Proven community involvement and business development track record.
• Strong interviewing, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to use financial calculators and related computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise branch staff to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate the bank vision and values to the branch team.
• Staff recruitment, interviewing, and selecting to ensure proper staffing.
• Create an engaging environment for customers and employees.
• Provide leadership through objective setting, coaching, and mentoring.
• Directly supervise sales and operations to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Conduct regular training meetings and implement process improvements.
• Ensure staff training on products, security, and procedures.
• Plan staffing levels and resource utilization across the branch.
• Monitor progress with performance appraisals and promotions.
• Approve leave, overtime, and payroll records; maintain attendance.
