A person in this position is accountable for fulfilling drink and food orders along with a strong customer service emphasis. Baristas are required to perform all required tasks with the utmost concentration and dedication. Baristas must be well versed in the standard operating procedures of the company.

Job Summary:

These are the basic requirements of the position and must be performed competently.

• Acknowledge all customers, employees, and vendors.
• Assist customers with drive-thru orders.
• Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, or teas.
• Prepare and serve menu items, such as pizzas and salads.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, clean or sanitize work areas, utensils or equipment.
• Check temperatures of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Order, receive, or stock supplies or products.
• Wrap, label, and date food items for sale.
• Receive and process customer payments.
• Assist other employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
