Job summary

Equity Bank in Clinton, MO is seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead a small on-site retail banking team, coach staff, and ensure exceptional service while upholding bank policies and regulations.

You will partner with the Branch Manager to drive sales, manage performance, and support team development for current roles and future growth, ensuring a superior customer experience for clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail with effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team to identify and implement solutions.
• Availability to travel to Wichita, Kansas during the first week of employment for required week-long training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a retail bank team of 2–4 employees.
• Partner with the Branch Manager on sales routines and coaching.
• Assist in hiring, scheduling, promotions, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Implement and ensure adherence to bank operating procedures and protocols.
• Coach, train, and develop team members for current responsibilities and future growth.
• Perform teller functions as needed to support branch operations.
