Job summary

Equity Bank is seeking a Customer Service Manager for its Norton, KS location. This on-site role leads a small team within Retail Banking, coaching daily activities, and ensuring compliant operations while delivering exceptional client service.

You will drive branch performance, participate in hiring and scheduling decisions, and work with the Branch Manager to meet growth targets. Travel to Wichita during training is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail with effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team to identify and implement solutions.
• Availability to travel to Wichita, Kansas during the first week of employment for required week-long training.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily workflow and coach a team of approximately 2–4 retail bank employees.
• Participate in hiring, compensation, scheduling, promotions, and performance actions.
• Implement and ensure adherence to bank operating procedures and controls.
• Coach, train, and develop team members for current and future growth.
• Support growth of retail bank net income through deposits, loans and non-interest income.
• Deliver superior customer experience and resolve escalated client concerns.
