Job summary

First Horizon Bank in Lake Charles is seeking a Banking Center Associate to provide quality customer service and handle daily financial transactions, including opening accounts and cross-selling bank products. You’ll conduct outbound calls and support sales goals while guiding clients through financial decisions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and about 1 year of teller experience, with mandatory background checks and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED plus 1 year teller experience.
Background check and SAFÉ Mortgage Licensing Act compliance required.

Responsibilities

Provide teller and platform support to minimize client wait times and ensure quality service.
Identify client needs through conversations and recommend appropriate products.
Open and process new deposit accounts (checking, savings, IRAs, CDs, money market).
Cross-sell and refer to bank partners to deepen relationships.
Conduct outbound calls to clients/prospects and participate in campaigns.
Assist with loan applications and hand off processing to the appropriate associate.
Research and resolve client inquiries about account status.
Deliver exceptional client experiences and promptly resolve issues.
Attend sales, service, and product knowledge training to stay informed.
