BMO U.S. in Illinois is seeking a Retail Banking Sales & Service professional to deliver exceptional customer service and build relationships with customers and prospects.

You will assess needs and guide them to appropriate financial solutions spanning everyday banking, lending, investments, and small business support. You will engage customers, schedule appointments, and collaborate with branch partners to ensure a seamless, compliant experience across channels.

Qualifications

• Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field desirable.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
• Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
• Experience in financial services is an asset.
• Verbal & written communication skills - Good.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
• Identifies customer needs and provides advice and guidance regarding financial solutions.
• Takes a lead in proactively engaging with existing customers and prospects to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
• Engages customers to complete needs assessments and recommends tailored solutions across banking channels.
• Assists with risk and compliance processes and ensures data accuracy and lending policy adherence.
• May work at multiple branches or through various channels based on market needs.
