Job summary

BMO Harris Bank is seeking a Branch Sales & Service professional in Los Angeles to guide a team in delivering superior customer service and to actively originate consumer loans in compliance with Regulation Z and SAF E Act.

The role requires broad retail banking knowledge, strong sales and analytical skills, and collaboration across teams to meet growth targets while adhering to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience - preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services.
• Advanced knowledge of competitive marketplace and trends in product offerings.
• Working knowledge of branch operational processes and policies.
• Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach branch staff to deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects.
• Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth and wallet share.
• Build a personal referral network and conduct sales calls to acquire new customers.
• Present recommendations and solutions to meet customers' financial objectives.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and Bank policies.
