Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is seeking a Retail Banker to engage with customers, open and maintain accounts, and promote bank products. You will receive comprehensive training to enhance the customer experience and progress within a nationally recognized, employee-owned bank.

The role emphasizes proactive sales, accurate cash handling, and dependable branch support, with opportunities for advancement within Woodforest’s retail network.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience or an Associate’s degree plus 1 year of experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred.
• Must be positive and engaging.

Responsibilities

• Achieving individual sales by proactively identifying, marketing, and recommending bank products and services beneficial to customers.
• Processing transactions, opening accounts, and performing account maintenance.
• Handling branch servicing duties such as vault balancing, cash ordering, and maintenance of automated teller machines.
• Employing problem solving skills to address customer inquiries and/or concerns in a manner consistent with the Woodforest Experience training.
