Overview

This individual is responsible for marketing retail merchandise to guests and stocking the retail area.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Markets retail merchandise to guests.
• Stocks and re-stocks the retail area to ensure adequate inventory of all goods.
• Performs cash and credit transactions with guests.
• Maintains current knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, including precheck and cashiering procedures.
• Ensures guest satisfaction through effective communication, customer assistance, and providing information within company policies and guidelines.
• Promotes positive public and employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Non-essential Job Functions

• Attend seminars as needed.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience in cashiering/money handling in a fast-paced environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Requirements

• Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Virginia Lottery regulations.
• Must successfully pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours.
• Prior experience in the gaming industry is strongly required.

Knowledge Of

• Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
• Hard Rock operations.

• Deliver excellent service to create positive, memorable guest experiences.
