Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Retail Attendant to assist guests in selecting memorabilia and products while maintaining the cash register, processing transactions, returns, and balancing the till at shift end.

You will engage customers with friendly service, support merchandising, pricing, and inventory tasks, and ensure the shop's cleanliness and presentation throughout the day, with flexible full-/part-time scheduling available.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Flexibility to schedule based on business needs.
• Basic math skills required (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Proven customer service and communication skills; read English manuals related to safety, operations, and procedures.
• Successful completion of a criminal background and drug screen.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal direction.
• Previous experience with cash transactions and POS systems.
• Proven teamwork skills.
• Enthusiastic and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with memorabilia and product purchases.
• Maintain cash register, ring sales, process returns, and close the till.
• Assist merchandising, display, inventory receiving, stocking, and pricing.
• Ensure the retail outlet is clean, well-presented and welcoming.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

• Some High School education or equivalent
• Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands
• Experience utilizing basic math skills with ability to add, subtract multiply and divide
• Proven customer service skills and communication skills; able to read and interpret English language manuals relating to safety, operations, and procedures
• Successful completion of a criminal background and drug screen.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction
• Previous experience with cash transactions and Point of Sale systems
• Proven teamwork skills
• Enthusiastic and energetic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time

Estimated Salary Range:

• $14.50 annual base salary

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Great Wolf's total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and other perks.
