Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and subassemblies per work instructions and drawings.
  • Perform hand soldering (through-hole and surface mount) per standards.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Read assembly prints, BOMs, and routing instructions.
  • Inspect for quality and rework as needed.
  • Maintain production and quality documentation.
  • Meet production schedules and quality metrics.
  • Follow safety and 5S standards; keep area organized.
  • Support training of entry-level assemblers.

Job description

ASSEMBLER II

Fort Worth, TX 76177

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

The Assembler II performs intermediate-level assembly operations, including hand and machine assembly and soldering, to produce quality products in a manufacturing environment. This role requires prior assembly experience, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and consistent adherence to quality and safety standards.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of manufacturing assembly experience
  • Demonstrated soldering experience (electronics or electrical components)
  • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and drawings
  • Proficiency with hand tools and soldering equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Maintain the effectiveness of the Quality Management System according to the applicable standards.
  • Ensure that determine and fulfill the requirements according to Customer commitment and regulatory provisions applicable.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Visual acuity sufficient for close assembly and soldering work
  • Intermediate mechanical and/or technical aptitude
  • Manual dexterity and steady hand control for precision soldering

  • Read and interpret assembly prints, bills of materials (BOMs), and routing instructions
  • Inspect assemblies for quality, defects, and proper workmanship; make adjustments or rework as required
  • Identify nonconforming materials or processes and report issues to supervision or quality personnel
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
  • Meet established production schedules and quality metrics
  • Follow all safety, ESD, quality, and manufacturing procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards, where applicable)
  • Assist with training or supporting entry-level assemblers as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
