The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Retail Associate (Part-time, 25 hours) to join our team. You will greet customers, handle transactions at the register, assist donors, and maintain organized, welcoming merchandise displays.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers & donors and provide friendly, helpful service.
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately.
• Assist donors with donations according to center policy.
• Sort, process, hang, tag, price, and prepare donated merchandise.
• Move priced merchandise to the sales floor, display areas, or other designated locations.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized.
• Work with team members to support daily sales and production goals.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type : Part-time, 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, every donation and sale helps fund our Adult Rehabilitation Center program. The Retail Associate is an important part of that mission, helping customers, processing merchandise, and keeping the store clean, organized, and welcoming. We're looking for energetic, dependable individuals who enjoy staying active and making a difference in their community.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers & donors and provide friendly, helpful service
• Operate the register and process sales transactions accurately
• Assist donors with donations according to center policy
• Sort, process, hang, tag, price, and prepare donated merchandise
• Move priced merchandise to the sales floor, display areas, or other designated locations.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and organized
• Work with team members to support daily sales and production goals
• Other duties as assigned
