Job summary

Whiskey Barrel Meats in Mapleton, ND, is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to assist customers and maintain an inviting retail environment. Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling transactions, and ensuring the space is clean and stocked.

The ideal candidate is genuinely good with people and is reliable. Experience in retail or food service is welcome but not required, as training will be provided. Evening and weekend shifts are required, along with being comfortable on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Preferably 21 or older for self-pour tap wall supervision.

Retail Associate — Part‑Time

Whiskey Barrel Meats · Mapleton, ND

We are adding one part‑time Retail Associate to the floor.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the retail counter — answer questions about cuts, products, and the Butcher's Reserve membership
• Ring sales accurately on our POS and handle cash and card transactions
• Welcome guests into the Smokehouse Lounge and help them get settled — pours, seating, and the small touches that make the room
• Keep the retail floor, cases, and lounge clean, stocked, and presentable to our standard
• Help with light product stocking, labeling, and rotation as needed
• Represent Whiskey Barrel Meats warmly, attentively, and genuinely glad people came in

Qualifications

• Reliable and on time, with a steady hand at the counter
• Comfortable on your feet and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Prefer 21 or older (the role works alongside our self‑pour tap wall)
