ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Retail Associate, you will represent our Company, Brands, and products to our consumers. You will serve customers, sharing product information to help them find suitable products. Retail Associates support product flow into the store and onto the sales floor, ensuring product representation and accessibility. You will contribute to store profitability through accurate and efficient processes and support the Store Leadership team in our mission.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Maintain store and visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety standards; restock merchandise from stock rooms and inventory locations.
• Perform cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges) accurately; promote loyalty programs.
• Support store profitability by accurately processing incoming and outgoing products.
• Assist customers by answering questions about product features, benefits, and availability; understand customer needs and assist with buying decisions. Uphold Columbia’s values to enhance customer experience and teamwork.
• Acquire knowledge about products, policies, procedures, and programs to execute daily operations effectively.

YOU HAVE

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred)
• Up to 2 years of experience in a relevant role
• Experience interacting with and serving customers
• Skill operating Inventory and Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail software
• Minimum age of 16 years

JOB CONDITIONS

• Active environment requiring movement; may involve physical tasks, lifting up to 40 lbs., and exposure to dust and noise.
• Occasional work in different locations.
• Clear communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability, which may vary seasonally and based on business needs.

Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.52

Expected Pay Range for Hire: $16.00

*Pay decisions depend on factors like market rates, skills, experience, and internal equity.
