Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection in Glacier National Park is seeking a friendly Retail Associate to help guests choose and buy merchandise while delivering warm hospitality. You’ll process payments, keep shelves stocked, and maintain a clean sales floor in a fast-paced, scenic summer setting.

Seasonal work July through late September 2026, about 35–40 hours weekly, $14.65 per hour, with housing options, meals on site, employee shuttle, and park perks. Prior guest service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of guest service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Process payments in POS system.
• Keep the sales floor clean and well-stocked.
• Price & stock shelves with merchandise.
• Clean and replenish coffee stations (Campstore locations).
• Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Assist customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner, answering customers’ questions regarding location, price, and use of merchandise.

The Details:

Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: July through late-September 2026 (exact dates vary by location)
Pay: $14.65/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 35-40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

• Requires cash handling, basic math skills, and POS System knowledge/experience.
• At least one year of guest service experience, and working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Physical Requirements include:

• Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 40 pounds.
• Frequent lifting and carrying supplies, boxes, bags of ice, and bundles of wood. Some locations require frequent trips up & down stairs.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
• Working safely with required chemicals.
