Job summary

Chico Hot Springs Resort is seeking a Retail Associate to welcome guests, handle sales at the shop and assist with barista duties. You will greet customers, process transactions, and maintain neat inventory while delivering friendly service.

The role requires basic computer skills, knowledge of POS systems, and a professional appearance. Prior cash handling is a plus, with opportunities to grow in a busy resort environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer the telephone courteously, and complete all sales transactions.
• Ensure merchandise inventory is neat, attractively displayed and stocked; communicate shortages to manager.
• Receive payment in cash, check or credit card and provide accurate change.
• Receive and verify vendor deliveries and stock merchandise as requested.
• Perform shift opening and closing duties.
• Clean and maintain store interior and exterior.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for safety and order.
• Perform Barista duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Retail Associate, you'll order, receive and stock merchandise, handle all aspects of merchandise sales, including retail and barista duties. You'll also ensure our guests and customers receive quality customer service.
JOB DUTIES

• Greet customers, answer the telephone courteously, and complete all sales transactions.
• Ensure merchandise inventory is kept neat, attractively displayed and sufficiently stocked. Communicate inventory shortages to manager.
• Receive payment from customer in cash, check or credit card and accurately count and provide change when applicable.
• Receive and verify vendor deliveries, and stock merchandise as requested.
• Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Clean and maintain both the inside and outside areas of the store.
• Inspect store facilities and equipment to ensure the safety, cleanliness and proper working order.
• Perform Barista duties as needed
• Other duties as assigned.
