Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a retail associate in our Seattle area locations. You will deliver exceptional customer service, assist shoppers with product selection, and operate the POS system to complete purchases and loyalty connections.

You will maintain merchandising standards, stock levels and store cleanliness while supporting daily operations and seasonal demands. A flexible schedule and team collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• No formal education required beyond HS (GED acceptable) and 2 years experience or less in a similar role.
• Proficiency with inventory and POS systems and related retail software tools.
• Age 16 years or older

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about product features, benefits and availability; engage customers to identify needs and suggest options.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; restock and retrieve items from floor or stock room.
• Handle all cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty program) accurately and efficiently.
• Support store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing product flow efficiently.
