Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Mississippi is seeking a Store Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, process transactions, and merchandise the sales floor. You will assist customers with merchandise selection, cashiering, and donation processing as part of a collaborative team.

Under supervision, you will move donations from the backroom to the floor, sustain a hazard‑free workspace, and help with stocking and price tagging. This role emphasizes PRIDE values in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Able to interact cordially with a diverse group of individuals.
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing 50 lbs or up to 100 lbs with a team lift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service, process transactions and merchandising.
• Assist customers with merchandise selection and cashiering in a courteous and professional manner.
• Process store donations and move product from backroom to sales floor, maintaining a hazard‑free area.
• Sort salable from salvage material and prepare merchandise for sale.
• Maintain production tallies and meet production goals; stock the sales floor as needed.
