Oakhurst Beverage is hiring a Retail Associate for a hybrid role blending cashier duties with stocking and merchandising. You will welcome customers, help with beer tastings, and ensure shelves are stocked and inviting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or cashier experience is a plus (but not required).
• Must be at least 21+ years old.
• Ability to lift and carry 30–50 lbs regularly.
• Comfortable handling cash and basic transactions.

Responsibilities

• Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently at the register.
• Create a welcoming, helpful experience for every customer.
• Check IDs and follow all alcohol sales regulations.
• Keep shelves, coolers, and displays fully stocked and looking great.
• Rotate product and monitor freshness and quality.
• Help unload deliveries and organize back stock.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and running smoothly.
• Stay aware of inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
• Assist with and run beer tastings, including setup, engagement, and cleanup.
• Share basic product knowledge and recommendations during tastings.
• Work as part of a team to keep things moving during busy hours.
