Job summary

Marion Goodwill Industries in Westerville, OH is seeking a Retail Associate to greet customers, process transactions, and support store operations. This role is on-site and contributes to the organization’s mission while offering a friendly, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months retail or cashier experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Reliable transportation and commitment to a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a prompt, courteous manner (in person and by phone).
• Operate the register to process transactions accurately, including discounts.
• Promote Goodwill’s “Change Round Up” program to fuel community impact.
• Keep the checkout area and front of store clean and organized.
• Bag and wrap merchandise with care.
• Assist with merchandise displays, stocking, and returns to the sales floor.
• Support store promotions, signage, and seasonal campaigns.
• Contribute to store safety, security, and team goals.
• Provide support in training new cashiers as needed.

We’re looking for a Sales Floor Associate who is friendly, reliable, and customer-focused. As the face of our stores, you’ll ensure every guest has a positive shopping experience while supporting the vital mission of Goodwill.
